SUMMARY:Club Tour - City Lights. Members only
DESCRIPTION:The City Lights tour has been an annual event held over the past 30 years. It has been traditionally \nheld on the Yarra River through the city but in recent years due to lack of launching spots on the \nYarra we have held the tour on the Maribyrnong. This year Frank will explore two options: \nOption A: Launch from the Docklands Community Boat House in Victoria Harbour\, paddle into the \nYarra then upstream to Rowing Sheds\, rest\, and then head back downstream to Victoria Harbour. \nDistance is 10kms\, l will check out the site the only question will be car parking and the logistics of \ntransporting club boats to the launch. \nOption B: Launch from club\, paddle downstream to Dynon Rd Bridge\, rest\, then turn back towards \nclub. Distance is 10km. Not as spectacular as the city but we don’t need to worry about transporting \nboats which mean more members can take part.
