1. Come and Try Days

Come and Try Days allow people to have a paddle and see how our club works

We have a session on the first Sunday of each month: 10 am till 11 am. Check our upcoming events for dates

A second session may run at 11am if numbers justify it and instructors are available

The cost is $25 per adult (children free)

2. Induction Sessions

As part of your membership these sessions provide basic skills and safety knowledge

Classes are run on Saturday mornings, 9-12 noon, in the fortnight after the Come n Try (see the calendar https://www.essendoncanoeclub.org.au/events/)

Participants must do a wet exit (capsize) as part of the training

3. Joining the Club

To join as a new member

Then take out a membership with Paddle Australia (choose Essendon Canoe Club) at https://paddle.org.au/join/
Once you are on our list we will contact you with further details

Fees

12 months membership from joining date
The $30 key deposit is refundable if you leave the club
The $85 helper levy is refunded when you contribute to the club: help at a working bee or come n try day
We offer substantial discounts for families
